The California Council is composed of 28 chapters, spread geographically across the state. Below is a list of the Chapters, with links to their individual Web Pages. All Chapters have an informational page here or a separate chapter-hosted page (Images on the Chapter pages indicate the Level of Excellence and Marvin Harris Communications Award ratings earned by the Chapter for 2023).

Each Chapter has a "Web Presence" on the MOAA National website. MOAA HQ provides a capability for Council and Chapters to have a web page on the MOAA HQ web site, called the Chapter Web Template.  It is found in the Council and Chapters area available to members and leaders.  It provides room for organization information and for narratives about the chapter. When a visitor to the MOAA web site looks for a chapter, they are led to these web pages. This link starts the process: https://www.moaa.org/chapter/chapter-listing-page/ for a visitor to the MOAA web site.  Two key items are the area describing the Council or Chapter activity (Mission, Information on joining the chapter, chapter activities, legislative activities, about our chapter, and general information) and the link to the council or chapter web site.

Chapter leaders should click on https://www.moaa.org/content/chapters-and-councils/council-and-chapter-enewsletters/council-and-chapter-communications/chapter-web-template/  for details on this process. You will need a Chapter ID (not your Chapter number - MDxx, but a separate eight digit number that will be your password). Once you have that information, click on the "Log in" link on this page to start editing your data.

Note that Chapter Leaders may not edit all of the information on the Chapter page. Contact the Affiliated Councils and Chapters office at Chapters@moaa.org to change anything on the top half of the page.
